The Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket Board and Leicestershire County Cricket Club are committed to continuing their policy of developing home grown talent. To assist in achieving this, we are again operating an extensive coaching programme this winter, aimed specifically at those boys in the age group range (2011 season) of under 10 - 15, with the abilities to play at District or County level, and 16 and 17 to play at County level.
Girls will have a separate District and County winter coaching programme. Please nominate all girls of all ages.
On receipt of the completed forms all new nominees will be invited by letter to attend an initial assessment either outdoors or indoors during late summer. Successful players will then be invited to attend District Coaching Centres commencing in November 2010.
A nomination form is attached below for you to complete. Please ensure that the Date of Birth and Post Code are entered for each nomination (this information is essential). Please do not nominate individuals who represented District or Leicestershire young cricketers during the 2010 season, as they will already be on our records.
In order that we may issue invitations, please return all completed forms to grace road, no later than Monday 2nd August 2010. Forms received after this date will not be processed.
